Pep Guardiola offered his verdict on Manchester City's summer transfer business, speaking to the media for the first time this summer.
Pep Guardiola moved to calm supporters' expectations when it comes to further summer signings - but provided a huge boost by confirming that Kevin De Bruyne will not depart this summer.
But one player set to stay is talisman De Bruyne, with Guardiola interrupting a question to confirm that 'Kevin isn't leaving'.ALSO READ: 'I have to make a decision about my Man City future - but I don't want to leave' Other players could depart, however, as Guardiola hinted at potential exits before the transfer deadline. "I don't know what will happen in the market," he said. "The squad is long enough, if someone leaves we talk about that. Of course, until the last day, we have chances - I don't rule out the option to have new players but if anyone leaves, I think 85, 90, 95 per cent we will have the same squad.
Guardiola was also excited about new signing Savio, snapped up from sister-club Troyes after an electric season at Girona. And in discussing the Brazilian, the manager opened up on troubles in the transfer market when it comes to making wholesale changes to his squad this summer.
