A gull has had a lucky escape after it was rescued from a castle well using a 'giant spoon'
The fledgling could be seen from the top of the well at Conwy Castle in NorthThe RSPCA were contacted as it was unable to fly and leave the 50ft-deep well due to
the water.This did not succeed and the rescue continued into a second day."We tried a few things with our nets and poles but they unfortunately failed," she said.
