The three victims were inside the Shangri-La takeout restaurant along the 5400 block of Chester Avenue in the Kingsessing neighborhood around 11:30 p.m. when a gunman opened fire, according to investigators.
"All three victims were suffering from gunshots, all were laying on the floor in the customer takeout area, all three victims were unresponsive," Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said.A 19-year-old man and woman in her 40s both died from their injuries. A second man was left in critical condition.There are additional resources for people or communities that have endured gun violence in Philadelphia.
