WATCH LIVE: Commissioner Outlaw is providing an update on the shooting:
A 2-year-old girl, 31-year-old woman, two 16-year-old boys, a 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy were in the schoolyard outside the James G. Blaine School along the 3100 block of West Norris Street shortly before 6 p.m. when a gunman opened fire.
The 2-year-old girl was shot once in the left thigh, the woman was shot twice in the left thigh, one 16-year-old boy was shot once in the left arm, the other 16-year-old boy was shot in the right arm and left thigh, the 15-year-old boy was shot twice in the chest and the right side of his body and the 13-year-old boy was shot in the left hand.All six victims were taken to the hospital. The 15-year-old boy is in critical condition. The other five victims are stable.This story is developing.
