A man has been shot in the arm in a suspected targeted attack in Sydney's west.

Police suspect up to three gunmen shot a 29-year-old man in a"targeted" attack in the early hours of Friday morning and fled the scene, before a car was found in flames nearby.New South Wales Police and paramedics were called to Figtree Drive at Olympic Park on Friday about 3am after reports of a shooting in the residential area.He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The incident happened just one kilometre from Qudos Bank Arena where teenagers had been lining up overnight ahead of American popstar Olivia Rodrigo's concert.The shooting has all the hallmarks of a gangland shooting.A crime scene has been established and is being examined by forensic officers.
