Singer Guy Sebastian’s former manager has been found guilty of dozens of charges that he fraudulently embezzled money from the pop star. 7NEWS
Titus Day, 49, had pleaded not guilty to more than 40 charges alleging he embezzled almost $900,000 owed to Sebastian through royalties, performance and ambassador fees.Watch the latest News on Channel 7 or stream for free onA jury on Thursday convicted him of more than 30 charges, but found him not guilty of 13 charges.
Day was found to have withheld hundreds of thousands of dollars owed to Sebastian in royalty and performance fee payments between 2013 and 2020. Day managed the Australian Idol winner via his company 6 Degrees between 2009 and 2017 before the pair’s relationship ended acrimoniously.Credit:Two years later he approached police when he says he discovered criminal behaviour.
