Paltrow’s character, Pepper Potts, is the longtime love interest of Tony Stark/Iron Man, played by franchise fan-favorite Robert Downey Jr.
“I think you may come back at some point,” Johansson, 38, interjected about her potential return as Pepper Potts in the superhero franchise.“One hundred percent, that’s happening. I can see it,” the “Marriage Story” star teased back. “They’re never gonna let you go. Break out that wig, baby.”
The mother of two made her debut as Potts in 2008’s “Iron Man” with her last appearance in 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame.” “I mean, I’m a bit old to be in a suit and all that at this point,” she explained. “I feel very lucky that I did it because I actually got talked into it. I was friends with [‘Iron Man’ director] Jon Favreau.
