A vocational training centre in Preston city centre has seen a major revamp of its hair and beauty salon.in Shepherd Street received funding from the Focus Foundation for an uplift to its training facility.
It gives those learning on hair, make-up and other personal beauty courses a state-of-the-art facility to learn within.The salon was designed with input from current students at Creativity Works Preston. Mandi Stanley from Focus Foundation will officially open the new salon in September ready for when the new cohort of students begin their studies.
She said: “It is always such a pleasure for the Foundation to work with organisations such as Creativity Works Preston as they make such a difference to the lives of young adults, encouraging them in a way that allows them to develop and grow for the future.
