Crown Prince Leka of Albania has publicly debuted his new relationship months after ending his royal marriage to former actress Elia Zharaia.

Prince Leka II tied the knot with Zharaia in a lavish event at the Royal Palace of Tirana in October 2016 in front of a representatives from a mix of reigning and non-reigning royals.confirmed the end of their marriage in a joint statement in JanuaryThe 42-year-old Prince has since begun dating new girlfriend Blerta Celibashi and went public with the romance over the weekend at the Carpathia West Ball, which he hosted in honour of The Queen Geraldine Foundation in New Jersey.

Meanwhile, Leka took to his Instagram account to make the relationship social media official, sharing an image of himself and Blerta holding hands at the ball. The Prince’s mother was Australian-born Crown Princess Susan , who hailed from Sydney before meeting Zog’s son King Leka at a dinner party in 1975.
