Authorities identified a bicyclist hit and killed by an unlicensed driver on Thursday in Half Moon Bay.

on Thursday in Half Moon Bay has been identified as Wang Jiuxiang, 75, of Half Moon Bay, authorities said. The collision happened in the 500 block of Kelly Avenue at around 3 p.m., according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies arrived at the scene to find Jiuxiang unconscious and suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
