Several 'bursts' of snow are expected across Illinois and Indiana for Halloween.

A brief burst of snow is expected across parts of N IL this AM and may lead to some slick spots, particularly on bridges and overpasses due to snow sticking to these colder surfaces. Temperatures will warm above freezing through the mid to late morning.Waves of snow showers and squalls are expected later this morning and afternoon.
"Maybe have that long underwear ready to go underneath those costumes if you're going trick-or-treating," NBC 5 Meteolrogist Pete Sack said.
