Two men who allegedly stole $10,000 worth of hams, turkeys and other gourmet deli products have been arrested by Northern Territory Police.
A 17-year-old and 21-year-old man have been charged over the heist, which took place in Darwin on Christmas Eve.
The vehicle was taken from a shopping centre carpark in Leanyer and later found by authorities abandoned without the deli food in the refrigerator. CCTV footage near the shopping centre reportedly captured the two men who have now been arrested over the incident.“It is incredibly disappointing for our members to be having to deal with these sorts of thefts just days out from Christmas,” he said.
