The research by the University of South Australia and Texas Tech University found eating 35g of dry-roasted peanuts before two main meals can have dramatic health benefits.
Both the peanut-eaters and those in the control group lost an average of 6.7 kilograms after six months.Texas Tech assistant professor Kristina Petersen said despite the high levels of unsaturated fats, peanuts can be part of an effective weight loss diet.People who ate 35g of peanuts before main meals were less likely to snack or overeat.
