Five members of an organised crime gang which ran a multi-million pound cannabis and amphetamine business from a Darwen mill have been jailed for more than 21 years.
Acting alongside Stone was Zachary Deaffern, 32, with the pair taking leading roles in the conspiracy, the court heard. John Rowe, Phillip Alderson, Dexter Ryan and Joshua Main to help import the cannabis into the UK from Italy and other areas of Europe. At Stone's home they found £15,000 cash, a small amount of cannabis, snapbags and digital scales. A search of the mill revealed amphetamine sulphate with a street value of £8,000 - £10,000 and vehicles registered to Alderson, who transported the goods on behalf of the gang. There was also an incapacitant spray, attributed to Stone.
He was sentenced to nine and a half years for conspiracy to supply amphetamines and cannabis and conspiracy to import cannabis.
