A onetime ghostwriter for Prince Harry has shared the truth about writing for the Duke of Sussex and revealed he has “no idea” if the ex-working royal read his own book.
English author Mark McCrum was tasked with writing a passage for Harry in 2011 as part of a book about wounded soldiers trekking the North Pole called Walking With The Wounded.
On Wednesday, the author finally opened about ghost writing the foreword for Harry in a Daily Mail interview and confirmed he never actually met with the then-working royal.“When I ghost-wrote for Prince Harry on the bestselling book Walking With The Wounded, about four wounded soldiers who trekked across the ice to the North Pole, I didn’t meet him,” he said.
Mr McCrum claims he contacted Clarence House ahead of the book’s publication to get palace approval on the finished copy, but never learned if Harry ever read the book.best-selling memoir Spare a decade later
