The Hawks improved to 24-9 overall and 3-1 in district play. Stevens dropped its first league contest and is also 3-1 in district. Warren is 3-1 as well, and all three are a game behind O’Connor . Senior Liya Darby had nine kills for Harlan. Sophomore setter Isabella De La Rosa had 28 assists, and junior setter Maddie Lee added 27 assists.Harlan faces Sotomayor , another team in the playoff chase, at 7 p.m. Friday at Northside Sports Gym. Stevens plays Taft at 7 p.m. Friday at Harlan District Gym.
