United States Vice President Kamala Harris has called Donald Trump to concede, congratulating the president-elect on winning the 2024 race.

Picture: Joe Raedle/Getty Images/AFP Trump also won the battleground states of North Carolina, Georgia, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, turning the latter three from blue in 2020 to red in this election.It is a bloodbath and nightmare for the Harris campaign who had held dozens of events across the seven swing states in the weeks leading up to the polls.
The Republicans will also win the US Senate majority, ensuring Trump's party will control at least one chamber of Congress next year.
