Otis Rolley, Wells Fargo’s director of social impact programs, said in the release he believed the public and private sector needed to intervene in the housing market to prevent the racial homeownership gap from growing. “If more people of color can buy their own homes and build wealth, it will have positive ripple effects that will benefit communities, Harris County, the local economy and the entire country long into the future,” Rolley said at a press conference.Houston, Harris County aim to halve homelessness with $100 million investment
