The summer employment program is part of MY Work, created by OVR to provide high school students with disabilities the chance to work at jobs in their communities. The goal is to give participants essential employability skills that allow them to become successfully employed in a competitive integrated environment following graduation.
Headquartered in Harrisburg, YAP is a national nonprofit in 35 states and Washington, D.C. that partners with youth justice, child welfare, behavioral health, and other systems to provide services in homes, schools, and communities as an alternative to residential care and youth incarceration.
