Police have praised the 40-year-old's bravery after he spared no second thought before rushing into the path of danger. Witnesses said they heard Anand's wife Poonam calling out"save my babies" as he tried to lift the pram back onto the platform, 7News reported. "As I sat her down, the little girl got pulled out of under the train with hardly a scratch on her, she was just crying."After the surviving girl was pulled from beneath the train, Poonam begged paramedics to allow her to hold her, but she was initially refused as they checked for injuries.
