Prince Harry shares details on private phone call with Queen in latest doc episode
Prince Harry has revealed the details of a private phone call with the late Queen about his decision to leave the UK with Meghan Markle, in a candid interview as part of their Netflix docuseries.
Harry and Meghan had spent Christmas in Canada in 2019 and had scheduled to fly back to the UK, with Harry saying he emailed his father Prince Charles at the time, to tell him about his and Meghan’s plans.Of their private chat, Harry revealed: “Before we left, I spoke to my grandmother as well and told her that we were coming back on the 6th, and I would love to come and see you.
Asa the Duke and Duchess were due to jet back to the UK to meet with the Queen, they say they were informed that the Queen would no longer be able to see them.
