Popstar Harry Styles said he could 'feel the Aussie' pumping through his veins as he embraced a local drinking tradition to kick off his tour Down Under.
Keen concert-goers were instead allowed to queue up for the sold-out show from 8am on Monday.
Fans braved blistering heat to get as close to the stage as possible as the mercury rose to about 37C during the late afternoon. Styles will head to Melbourne next to perform two shows and then move to Gold Coast before finishing up in Sydney.
