“On the film, it looked like when they got pressured they got pretty rattled, so we took that into consideration and tried to use it in the game,” Harvest Prep guard Zyaun Hutson said. “That’s been our key all year. A lot of teams can’t handle our pressure. We’d have a good chance at getting steals and transition buckets if we played well defensively.”
“We were trying our best not to let them drop it down low to their bigs,” Shaheed said. “We dictate pressure every day in practice and our guards excel at that. Everyone has been hitting their stride, defensively and offensively. We have a goal, getting a ring.” Swain scored a game-high 23 points, and the Nubians advanced to a regional semifinal Wednesday against Malvern or Sugarcreek Garaway at Ohio University.
