After a challenging Saturday night for many hay fever and asthma sufferers across Victoria, high or extreme grass pollen levels are forecast again this afternoon.Edwin Lampugnani, the service's chief operating officer, on Sunday morning said the grass pollen count had been steadily increasing over the past 24 hours.
However the reprieve is set to be short-lived, with high levels of grass pollen predicted for much of Victoria, and extreme levels in the north central and north east parts of the state.
