Australia’s head coach is due to front the media on Tuesday, and Stephen Moore hopes it will be used as an opportunity for greater transparency.

Former Wallabies captain Stephen Moore claimed that, in his view, Eddie Jones “never felt committed” to the role as Australia’s head coach and has called for clarity on the future of the position.

“I think he’s never really felt fully committed to the role, there’s always been conjecture around is he coming or going.“He’s got a very strong relationship with the Japanese president and there’s always been speculation, hasn’t there, about whether he’s going to take that role after the World Cup. Japan assistant coach Tony Brown is also in the mix to become head coach of the Brave Blossoms and confirmed to this masthead he is interested in the role.“You know, it’s been amazing coaching Japan. I love the players and how hard they work, and I love how much improvement we’ve been able to get out of them.
