As investigations into the crash take place, Wagner supporters, military experts and even the US President have been quick to point the finger at Mr Putin, who Mr Prigozhin launched a botched mutiny against two months ago. Wagner-linked Telegram channel Grey Zone alleged, without providing evidence, that the plane was shot down by the Russian military.
