AFL: Chris Fagan spoke to the media following the Lions thrilling win over the Giants to progess to the Preliminary final.
Brisbane coach Chris Fagan is adamant dual-Brownlow Medallist Lachie Neale will play against Geelong in next Saturday’s preliminary final at the MCG despite a scare late in the Lions’ thrilling five point win over the Giants.
“He will be right. He is not in any danger of missing next week. It has been like that for a while now. He lives with that just about every week now and I thought he still made a good contribution tonight.” “If you are going to tag Lachie, well we will have Josh Dunkley, Hughie McCluggage and Will Ashcroft who will pop up, and that is what we need,” Fagan said.
“I thought Cal Ah Chee was as well. He played a great game on Lachie Whitfield and contributed to our scoring.”
