'He was one in a million and unique - and that’s why I fell in love with him'
The ex-wife of a dad who died in Longsight last weekend has paid an emotional tribute to him, saying he was 'one in a million' who 'saved my life'.
An investigation was launched and Tarik Hussein, 27, also of Plymouth Grove, was charged with murder by police and is due to stand trial on a provisional date of July 31 this year.Following Esmaeil's death, who is a dad-of-two, his former wife Nicola Bevington has paid an emotional tribute to him, remembering him as 'one in a million' who saved her life whilst she was living in a women's hostel when they met.
"He was a fantastic dad and was a big support for me. We remained really good friends even after our separation and I’ll love him always.
