Picture: NCA NewsWire / Luis Enrique Ascui But when asked whether she had confidence in the leadership of Ambulance Victoria, the health minister refused to say, instead stating the organisation was in a “challenging position” and the EBA dispute needed to be resolved “as soon as possible”.Ms Thomas also refused to say whether she was considering appointing administrators to take over Ambulance Victoria.
“Resolution of the enterprise agreement is an absolute key priority, because we need to bring stability back to Ambulance Victoria… Resolution of the enterprise agreement is a really critical matter right now,” Ms Thomas said. Announcing their own no confidence motion results on Monday, the Ambulance Managers and Professionals Association said it had written directly to the Health Minister to express its concerns.
