Lilly Watts and police constable Liam Trimmer had gathered with friends and family to celebrate their engagement and announce she was 14 weeks pregnant.But tragedy struck when the 29-year-old fell and cut a major artery in his neck at his home in Fremantle, Australia.
He moved from the UK to Australia when he was still a teenager, later graduating from Joondalup Police Academy.A report into Mr Trimmer's death will be prepared for the coroner. The cause of the accident has not been confirmed.A GoFundMe page has been created to raise money for Ms Watts. Her close friend, Mel Kelly, started it and said Ms Watts is bereft, having lost her "soulmate".
