The cast of Netflix's Heartstopper have returned to London Pride to do the people's work 👏 Last year, the stars went viral as they playfully tormented protestors by dancing and blowing kisses.
Back at it again in 2023, the young cast was once again on hand to silence the anti-LGBTQ+ protests, as they flashed middle fingers to a religious group.
Stars including Joe Locke, Kit Connor, Yasmin Finney, Will Gao, Sebastian Croft, Kizzy Edgell, Corinna Brown, and Tobie Donovan appeared on a rather cool Heartstopper float as they took part in the parade this weekend. The whole group – including creator Alice Oseman – helped to spread unapologetic queer joy as they twerked to music and waved to fans in the crowd.
Their most epic moment, though, was when they flipped off a bunch of anti-gay demonstrators, who looked very unimpressed as they held their signs and watched on.Latest London news
