Heidi Klum told PEOPLE at Tuesday's taping of 'America's Got Talent' that she hit a 'rough patch' while designing her costume for her upcoming annual Halloween bash. The supermodel even admitted she worried she'd have to 'call in sick' and skip her own party.
While chatting with PEOPLE on the red carpet at Tuesday's live taping of, the supermodel, 50, shared that the design process for her latest spooky season sensation has hit a few snags.
"I have had a really hard time. Things were going wrong, things were not working out," she says, even joking that she worried she would end up living out her own "Emperor Has No Clothes" moment. The costume complications had her ready to bail on the party altogether."I was like, maybe I just don't come at all and you pretend I'm there because I was already like, oh my God, this is not working out," she says of skipping her own annualHeidi Klum and Sofía Vergara goof around at a live taping of 'America's Got Talent' on Sept. 12."Oh man, no, it's been like that. It's been going good, then it's going terrible," she continues.
Fortunately, her Halloween plans are back on track and her costume idea is coming together. "Now I'm positive again. It's going to work," Klum declares.
