This weekend’s GardenscapeShow is the first sign of spring in Saskatoon. yxe
GardenScape has a large educational component with the Speaker’s Theatre and How-to Stage. Kuzma noted that the Speakers Theatre features practical topics from local experts. Whether you’re a novice gardener starting your first seeds or an experienced gardener who needs to know how to prune an overgrown tree, you’ll find best practices and helpful advice.
“With the price of groceries and fruit and vegetables right now, if it’s not a vegetable garden it could be planting some fruit trees as well,” Kuzma said. “It could be raspberry bushes or apple trees. There’s lots of things that are suitable for our climate.” More than greenery and blossoms, the GardenScape show also has entertainment by the SuperDogs. This year’s Rock N’ Roll Over theme will have audiences cheering on the furry stars through music hits from the past and present. SUPPLIEDThe Prairie Berry Café will also return with pies and crisps and other sweet treats.
