Watkins accounted for four touchdowns, including one in that breakout second quarter. He threw for two on 15-of-25 passing and rushing for a pair in a 26-yard performance on the ground.
Jackson’s 145 yard performance was his best of the season. You’d have to go all the way back to Villanova’s season opener against Lehigh in which he finished with 144 yards and two touchdowns on just eight carries.Villanova’s penultimate regular season game is also its final home game of the regular season when it takes on Towson next Saturday . It then comes down to a road trip to rival No. 5 Delaware on Nov. 18 at 1 p.m., also televised on FloSports.
