Just days after renovations were completed, the interior of the heritage-listed Mosman Rowers Club caught fire | TheMattBungard
Fire crews arrived at the building, which has been in business since 1911, just before 11am to deal with a blaze that was caused by the chimney of a gas heater catching fire in the ceiling of the building. The firefighters arrived on the scene, pulled down the area of the ceiling around the fire and put it out. There was no structural damage to the premises and the fire was contained to the building and wasn't endangering any others around it.
There were so many trucks in use due to the tight area surrounding the premises and its location on a pier.
