South Australia Police have praised the"brave" man who helped save two children on a highway in Adelaide after they were allegedly stabbed by their mother.
Superintendent Selena Dinning thanked the man driving past who stopped his car on the motorway to intervene and take the knife from the woman. “If this man had not stopped, I’m sure the situation would have been much worse. Dinning said the eight-year-old has undergone surgery and will make a full recovery, while the three-year-old is yet to have surgery but remains in a stable condition. The mother, also from Modbury Heights, was arrested and taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital under police guard.
