The Queen’s love for Chanel likely has a far deeper meaning going back decades to her times as the future King’s mistress. Diana was allegedly aware of the monogram and the similarity to the famous Chanel logo which resulted in the then-Princess of Wales refusing to wear Chanel after her divorce.
