The Hiking Hens who have brought women together for hikes in the Mournes are celebrating their second birthday by climbing Mount Errigal in Co Donegal.
"We have girls that we've lifted from Belfast, Antrim , Castlewellan and Lisburn and one woman has travelled from Belfast to meet us for the first time so it's great to see people taking that leap of faith. "This was just supposed to be a temporary measure, it as like a community coronavirus>Covid response imitative," she said.
"It's just the experience and enjoyment of the mountains and the achievement of such a huge climb," she said.

Boston Rolls Out Free Digital Libraries at Some Bus StopsBus stops in Boston are beginning to double as digital libraries under a new pilot program being rolled out across the city. Mayor Michelle Wu said Thursday that riders at 20 bus stops can now dip into free digital content by using an QR code to browse and borrow audiobooks, eBooks, e-newspapers and e-magazines for all ages. Boston Library cards are not required and readers don’t need to download an app. The program, which runs through the end of August, features blue slip-proof decals on sidewalks at the bus stops. Offerings include poetry, short stories and short audiobooks.
