The video has racked up over 8million TikTok views in under 24 hours
A hilarious clip of a man being ambushed by a crazed duck at a fishery has gone viral after being viewed millions of times in just one day. The video, which was shared on TikTok, shows Aaron Somerville, from Fife, visiting Balmule Valley Fishery near Dunfermline with his fiancée, Catherine Farmer, at around 4pm on Saturday.
As the comical scene unfolds, the 30-year-old can be heard shouting: "Ah, ya b*****d." The couple's little one, Thomas, also shouts: "Daddy!" while the wild waterfowl flaps its wings at the dad, who is seen bolting in the opposite direction. "We were recording to show Thomas' first catch and he was warning me that the duck was coming but I had no idea - and then it grabbed my hand. I was stuck in two minds about what to do. People were surrounding me watching and I didn't want to kick it, so I just kept running.
Aaron, who works as a manager at a food factory, continued: "We have no idea why it went for me - but it decided it was going for me and no one else. My son was clapping his hands in hysterics."
