The frank comments from Hillary Clinton came as she and her daughter, Chelsea, appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” to promote their new book, “The Book of Gutsy Women.”
Savannah BehrmannWASHINGTON — Former Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that the “gutsiest” personal thing she's ever done was"stay in my marriage."
“Ah, boy, I think the gutsiest thing I've ever done — well, personally, make the decision to stay in my marriage,” Clinton answered. “Publicly, politically, run for president. And keep going. Just get up every day and keep going.” Chelsea Clinton, when asked the same question after her mother, said she was “overwhelmed by my mother's answer that I'm a bit out of words.”
