Jeff Younger sees himself as the “tip of the spear” in an effort that led the state to investigate parents of transgender children for child abuse.

Younger says his actions are an act of love for his child, who lives 20 minutes away with Younger’s ex-wife but whose “friends in the neighborhood ask about him all the time.”He blames the GOP for not doing enough and says it’s his primary reason for running. “We all have to love one another and we have to take care of one another,” he said. “I believe in taking account of opposing positions.”
