SAN JOSE — A man died Tuesday after an early morning hit-and-run collision in San Jose’s Alum Rock neighborhood, according to police.
Authorities said the crash was reported at 5:45 a.m. at the intersection of Capitol and Alum Rock Avenues. The victim, a pedestrian, died at the scene. No other details, including information about the vehicle and driver involved in the crash, were immediately made available. The man’s identity was withheld positive identification by the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner-Coroner.
