Popstar Britney Spears, months after being freed from a conservatorship, announced Monday she is pregnant with her third child.
"So I got a pregnancy test," Spears posted to Instagram."And uhhhhh well... I am having a baby." Spears, 40, joked that she"won't be going out as much." The singer revealed she was thinking about having another child a few days after her conservatorship ended in November 2021, when she was apparently forced to wear a birth control device, according to Uproxx.
Spears has two children, 16-year-old Sean and 15-year-old Jayden, with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. She refers to her fiance, Sam Asghari, as her husband in her post and has done the same in other social media posts.Spears, known for hits including"Oops!... I Did It Again,""Stronger," and"...Baby One More Time," signed a $15 million deal with the publishing company Simon & Schuster to write a book detailing her 13-year conservatorship.
