ARPANSA received 165 submissions about the waste and workshop facility proposal during a 30-day consultation period, but has not made them publicly available.Former science teacher James Mummy, who lives locally, is among those who made submissions and said he was concerned about community safety. "I would say fairly positive, but probably ranges from very positive to vehemently opposed," she said.Radiation 'minimal'
"As far as people's confidence go, I would hope that they realise that the federal government has made this decision and everyone will be doing their very best to make sure it's safe and well regulated," she said.
