Nine firefighters were sworn in during a ceremony at City Hall, putting the Hoboken Fire Department at 120 member, city officials said.
Vincent Libretti, Thomas Pettit, Rafael Flores, James Davis, Nicole Barron, Chris Picinic, Kaylee Olivieri, Joseph Rossano and Zachary Bascio joined the department in the ceremony Monday that was attended by Mayor Ravi Bhalla, Public Safety Director Ken Ferrante and Fire Chief Anton Peskens.
