Home Bargains is urging shoppers to 'be aware' as a worrying new trend has seen people scammed out of pocket online
Home Bargains has issued a critical alert to all customers with a Facebook account. The affordable store made a post on social media yesterday evening, advising shoppers to stay vigilant.
However, the store has made it clear that these accounts are fraudulent and advises shoppers to remain cautious. A spokesperson emphasized that Home Bargains would never ask for customers' banking information. "If you do receive these comments we strongly recommend that you do not click on any links and do not share any of your personal details. If you have already shared your bank details, we recommend that you contact Action Fraud to report this. Thank you, the HB team."
