Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews flags a likely return to home learning for many students and their families, but says a final decision is yet to be made.
Victoria has recorded more than 700 new cases in the past week.
Mr Andrews said the Government did not want the VCE in metropolitan Melbourne to differ to the curriculum in regional Victoria, which was part of the reason why year 11 and 12 students' return to school next week has not changed. When asked whether he was concerned that Victorian students might fall behind the rest of Australia, the Premier said, "I don't think so."
