Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a serious assault in Perth's eastern suburbs, after a man with life-threatening injuries was located on a road early on Saturday.
The man, who is believed to be aged in his 20s, was found at about 1:25am on Chatham Road, Woodbridge, in Perth's north-east. He was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital, where he remained in a critical condition on Saturday morning.Forensic police officers have been scouring the scene, where a trail of dried blood could be seen leading to one of the houses on the street.Detectives want anyone with information, or CCTV or dash-cam footage of Chatham Road between 12:30am and 2am to come forward.
