Hongli Qi, 28, was last seen alive on May 11. His family last saw him at Sydney's Town Hall about 1pm and investigating police tracked down CCTV footage of him leaving a Macquarie Street apartment complex about 6pm the same day.
Homicide detectives are appealing for public help to investigate what they've classed as a suspicious death.
