Hong Kong billionaire and insurance magnate Calvin Lo is looking to invest in one of the new teams interested in joining F1 in the coming years.

Lo emerged last year as a potential investor in the sport, although initially he was coy on whether he wanted to join forces with an existing team or become involved in a new project.

The CEO of insurance company RE Lee International, Lo already has an involvement with the Williams team following its sale to Dorilton Capital in 2020, although he has declined to expand on its extent. "So right now there are a few opportunities coming up, and we are talking quite seriously with a few teams."
